Events on the farm are all about enjoying each other’s company and the fruits of the land. From lilies to pumpkins, and of course the gin, we want to celebrate what nature has helped us create. Every year we celebrate the coming of summer with World Gin Day, the second Saturday of June, followed by our Lily Festival in July, Gladiola Festival in August and finishing up with Pumpkin Fest in September. We will also have several other activities sprinkled throughout the year.
Black Fox World Gin Day Come and go G & T
June 9th, 2018
Just like the kind grandma would have (sort of).
We'll be bringing out all things gin - from gin cocktails, gin soap, Gin and Tonic popcorn (if we can perfect the recipe by then), cupcakes, macaroons, more. Also, we'll introduce guests to a Gin Tonic which actually differs from a Gin and Tonic. Gin #3 also got a makeover! We will be revealing its new look!
To add to the celebrations, we will be introducing our new Black Fox Gin Passports, which will open you up to a whole new world of gin right here in Saskatoon!
Sunday July 22, 2018 2-5 pm
Music – Food – Drink – Friends and Flowers– everything to make a great afternoon
Come celebrate the beginning of our fresh flower season with our Annual Lily Festival. If you are up for a long term relationship, mark your favourite lilies and we will dig them for you to take home. With over 12000 to choose from your are sure to find a few. Plant them in your garden and enjoy them for years to come.
Our festival is set for July 22, however this year we want to welcome people out anytime starting Canada Day weekend as the earliest lilies have already started to bloom. And if you are looking for any lilies in particular we can dig them up and send them home with you immediately.
Black Fox Glad Fest
Sunday August 19, 2018 2pm – 5pm
Surely there is nothing more impressive than a Gladiola in full bloom, and after a beautiful summer of waiting, they are finally here! Come ready to be amazed. You can walk the rows and take home your favourites by the armful.
Savour walking through 10, 000 gladiolas, of every colour of the rainbow. Cut some to take home with you and add in some of the other Mother Nature’s other spectacular flowers we have available.
Black Fox Pumpkin Fest
It has been a very difficult decision for us to make but we have to cancel all pumpkin fest activities for 2018. The weather just has not cooperated and the prediction of -6 degrees on Thursday may destroy all of the pumpkins. If it was only a single day we might be more confident but they are forecasting three days in a row and that just doesn't work for us. Very Sorry.
You can still come out to pick pumpkins and play in the bale maze. Extending our hours noon - 7pm Sept.26-29.
